According to a recent news item making international headlines, a journalist in a forthcoming BBC ‘documentary’ will “inject” herself with the “main ingredient” of so-called “skunk cannabis” in an effort to warn viewers of the “dramatic” and “unpleasant” effects of marijuana.

Vermont’s Senate has just given final approval to Senate Bill 238. As amended, SB 238 removes criminal penalties for the possession of up to one ounce of marijuana — replacing them with a fine, but no criminal record.

House Bill 1623, which seeks to remove criminal penalties for the possession and use of up to one-quarter ounce of marijuana in New Hampshire, was passed earlier today 3-1 by a subcommittee of the House Criminal Justice and Safety Committee.
