I've known Johnathan for years. I even knew him back in his partying days. For the record: Johnathan is one of the kindest, brightest and most optimistic people I've ever met. Johnathan and I shared many laughs, tears and experiences that I will always cherish. When things were at their worst, Johnathan was always a voice of reason and a constant source of joy. He would show up at a party, and he'd have a crowd gathered around him in no time. He is just one of those down to earth, approachable cool types that everybody loves. This was at his worst.
At his worst, Johnathan was a far better person than the overwhelming majority of "sober" people I have EVER met or had any interactions with. I CAN'T THINK OF A MORE DESERVING PERSON TO GET A TRANSPLANT!!! This is tragic.
Johnathan; it may not be in the best shape or condition, but if it comes down to it...you can have one of my kidneys.
G.U.R.P.S. Nerds for life!!! Say hi to Fromberg 4 me. Oh, and watch out for deer! Hit me up bro. -Big Jeremy

I can understand that there are limited organs and the hospitals need to make the hard choice about who gets them, but I have one concern. I bet they don't deny patients if they admit to drinking a glass or two of alcohol a day. Alcohol is more of a destroyer than marijuana could ever be, yet it's not discriminated against. How bass-ackwards is that?

Theres a double standard here that is being overlooked! My best friend age 42 died of a heart attack. She was put on life support for four days until the Drs. could get proof she was brain dead and concent from her husband to harvest her organs. Not her heart of course but heart tissue, liver, kidney's skin tissue , eye corneas? and she smoked! Her organs were good enough to use to save lives (4 people to be exact) but people smoking cant get organs? What the hell is with this country!

Apply yourself. Get all the education you can, but then, by God, do something. Don?t just stand there, make it happen...

This has nothing to do with medical pot, it has to do with a no smoking policy! So edible pot will do the trick and no one in Oregon will have a problem!
