#14 JP Says:
February 5th, 2009 at 9:45 pm

Ok, i just watched all of them.
First this could have easily been a top 8 or so.

RE: JP,
I completely agree.
I narrowed it down to just those PSA's which
addressed Pres. Obama directly, though,
which was only 8 videos.
(However, there were a few videos, though not speaking to Mr. Obama directly,
DID succeed presenting the needed facts concisely, professionally).

JP: Some of these were just outright terrible.
I liked the idea of the free credit report spoofs but they just didn’t pull it off.

RE:
The gong-banging at the end of Crazy Cash might frighten some people away. And is Dr. Dankford a real, bona-fide physician, anyway?
I also thought Judgement Day was more stoner-humor than a convincing presentation of facts. And it didn't speak to Pres. Obama directly, either.

JP: Cannabis Quandary had alot of great facts in it, and was well made.

RE: Agreed. This is one got my vote!
 My favorite quote from CQ:
"How could the President of the United States have EVER done such a thing?
Maybe because he knew it was less addictive than both alcohol and nicotine,
and knew it could be consumed responsibly..."

This is not so much for the reform of marijuana but more so a possible solution to our economic problem. In some way, Congress needs to get the idea put infront of them that by reforming marijuana laws, can help save and bring in large sums of money. By cutting back on the DEA's spending, By fewer arrests of these "criminals" that are taking up space and thousands of dollars in prisons the Gov. will be saving a great deal of money. The next helpful side to this, would be a form of marijuana produced and sold by the Gov. this is pretty much FREE for the Gov. to produce. Selling it can be close to a 100% profit since it is so easy to produce. Hell they could even make users apply for a permit that will bring in even more money, and they will be able to keep a record of who bought what, when, and how much of it. Its time for these laws to be reformed, and it couldnt couldnt be a more better time.

Ok, i just watched all of them. First this could have easily been a top 8 or so. Some of these were just outright terrible. I liked the idea of the free credit report spoofs but they just didn't pull it off. Cannabis Quandary had alot of great facts in it, and was well made.

One of the RACKETS the drug warriors use to enrich themselves is . They go to a Corporation and get $100,000 dollars to produce an anti marijuana ad. Then they spend $150 on the actual ad and pocket the $99,850. Believe me it does not cost more than a $150. to film a guy frying an egg, or a girl talking to her dog, or some kid taking off a t-shirt.

VERY IMPORTANT: Go to promise audit http://promises.nationaljournal.com/
Notice anything missing. You won't find anything about
medical marijuana there. One of the most key battles in the war on prohibition IS REINSTATING THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE for broadcasters. Go to change.org or wherever and demand the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE be reinstated. It won't be long before those public opinion sites start filtering out any mention of marijuana reform. Reinstating the fairness doctrine is altogether different. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairness_Doctrine to learn more. If the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE was reinstated tv and radio stations who air ONDCP and other drug war ads would be REQUIRED BY LAW to air oppossing viewpoints. EXAMPLE at the end of this article is a disclaimer that the winner of the NORML ad contest will be aired on local Cable IF NORML CAN FIND A STATION TO AGREE TO SHOW IT. Under the fairness doctrine a station would have 2 choices either show NORMLS AD or cease showing ONDCP ads.
