Rebel, not sure if you're still here, but I wanted to try to further convince you to help me. I ain't trying to buy this person a beer! I realize it's someone seemingly small and insignificant.

I invite you over to this site
http://ChristiansAgainstProhibition.org/
where ramblings like this are more relevant than my constantly adding on to this page. It may not be the fastest of websites, but just think of it like the story of the tortoise and the hare. :-) Hopefully, those behind it can put some more resources into it before too long. But if not, so be it.

That said, here's what scripture says: Isaiah 14:5-20, and in particular, 16,17:
<blockquote>Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: "Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble, the man who made the world a desert, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?"</blockquote>

And this passage is echoed throughout many stories where some big fearful thing is destroyed and out comes some tiny little being. I've been casting big nets and setting up fences, but there are so many with blood on their hands it would help if I could just go straight at the problem.

Or are you implying there is a parallel here to the Drug Warriors taking down a dealer, another moves in to take his place? Doesn't bother me, I am convinced I will still think of a way to get rid of the seat of power, if not those who sit on it. Granted "a house divided does not stand" so I totally believe it will be its own undoing, but the sooner we depose it the sooner those in prison who do not belong are released, the sooner we stop sinking deeper in debt over this evil, the sooner we can stop ruining other countries and the planet, the sooner the U.S. can get back some respect, the sooner you can enjoy some herb and not be mis-labeled a criminal, the sooner scientists can figure out how best to concoct and administer this plant to help people who are suffering, and on and on …

It was all created..but...the creator invisioned littler things than the Bomar Brain. Now we can carry all that technology around in our pockets...because of the creators certainty of evolution. "Some day."

51 NeuroGenesis1:29,
<i>"Did the internet, our computer-technology, (as well as all technology, in general…), EVOLVE, or was it CREATED?"</i>

Well, Jimi Hendrix sang in "Third Stone from the Sun" of our "mysterious and superior cackling hen." Which evokes the question of which came first the chicken or the egg.

There's a joke here someplace, but I'm not sure what it is. :-)

But my answer would be "both." I would say that examples abound of incremental steps. However, transistors were a serious "creation" that eclipsed vacuum tubes for nearly everything. They were literally a new creation compared to vacuum tubes.

However, I think this may be a false dichotomy. One person's "outside the box" is another's "I saw that coming." Or to put it another way, the smallest of the Russian dolls says, "wow that was thinking outside the box" but the larger Russian dolls says, "wasn't that obvious, that was not 'outside the box.'"

To make things a bit more complex I'd say that each person is a "box of boxes." In other words, some of their perspectives may be small, while others may be large.

In other news, maybe you can tell me who this mysterious "voice" is that Rebel refers to.

49 Steve

For sure they are idiots…
but…there is nothing wrong with creationists.

Ater all God gave us Manna, and if they can’t figure that out from reading their own scriptures they’re dumber than I gave them discredit for.

You on the other hand must be an evolutionist, and there’s nothing wrong with that either.

What am I…
if your trying to figure it out?
I believe in Faith & Science as one in the same.

<b>RE: Rebel,
A "Question of the Day"
for anyone reading this blog:

- Did the internet, our computer-technology,
(as well as all technology, in general...),
EVOLVE, or was it CREATED?
