McCaffrey lives in a "special" world largely of his own creation, where actual facts and their verifyable truths hold little sway. He and his ilk will eventually go the way of other life forms on this planet that were not able to adapt to change-he will simply become extinct.

OK....IF God gave everybody the right/luxury/blessing of FREE-WILL.......
And IF Prohibitionists would have OUR freedom of personal choice taken away......

Does it not stand to reason that PROHIBITIONISTS are infact anti-religious/spiritual......or even anti-god?

I mean the very concept of "prohibition" seems to effortlessly disrespect God's own will/law concerning MY...YOUR...OUR free-will.

That ole codger is as old as I am. If he takes away my joint, I will take away his drink and prove that it has been proven that his drink is worse than my joint.
He needs to get out of the reefer madness days.

We will never go back in time. Times are changing.

McCaffery's generation is a real problem when it comes to living this lie. In my community many of the folks I talk to believe what he says about the defacto status of cannabis. When someone here is busted, they instantly assume they were dangerous dealers and child molesters. Talking with them has zero effect. Every reply in defense of their stance as to how evil "druggies" are to the fabric of society can be found boiler plate from the Reagan era. They bought that all hook line and sinker and appear to feel not only comfortable but firmly enthralled by the idea of "doing us all some good" in their support of prohibition.

Again, I hate to have to say people need to die for some change to occur, but there is a very powerful generation of people who vote more, have larger purses, and generally are "respected" too much in the way of some of the progress that should be had already.

Let's hope California get's it together. Just like 215 if they can come up with a true way of telling to feds, "Uhm No ..." it will be a wonderful domino effect from there.

I am not in any support of any other drugs, including alcohol and tobacco. Both of which are incredibly toxic and harmful btw.

Legalization can help those who choose to use more harmful drugs much better than criminalization can. Complete legalization of all drugs can also help our tax money be spent on rehabilitation efforts for addicts and other burdens to society, rather than jail cell spots.
