the reason we cant have medical marijuana, and that we need to legalize marijuana,,is because it wont help the drug war or save our country the billions they spend already,,cause most people cant afford 10 to 20 dollars a gram,, and if they cant afford medical marijuana or other people who dont have a medical marijuana card to recieve marijuana,,is still going to buy from a cheaper source [mexico] and medical marijuana is not going to stop people from bringing it to the united states,,and this is what government thinks in my opinion,,, they think if we have some states with medical marijuana,,that this we create a under ground black market and people will buy medical marijuana on the black market and they want purchase from cartels in mexico,,and if this isnt true ,,,why isnt the federal government out busting all dispensaries.. i know they get some ,,just to make them look good ,, but medical marijuana isnt going to work for america,,it has to fully legalized,, if we want to keep cartels from bringing it here and keeping the american dollar here in the united states,, cause the way were going they spend billions for prohbition,, and then the people that make most of the money from marijuana ,,dont even live in the united states,,it needs to be taxed and regulated like alcohol and cigarettes,, if we want to win the drug war as they say!! most people think they no alot bout the marijuana buisness,,but where i live in the mountains of tennessee,, along way from the coast it should be harder to find,,but only just a few years ago they busted some people that was in a marijuana ring and went from here to half way across the united states,, they ended up getting all together 25000 pounds of marijuana,,do we need to spend billions more for marijuana prohbition,,i can make one phone call and get marijuana and i can make another call and get medical marijuana in tennessee,, but with the job situation here of course most people are going to buy the cheaper marijuana to make money ,,cause they are no jobs,,at least legalized weed would open buisnesses and create jobs ,,,that we need fast not in the next 4 years,, how are people going to survive til then,,and then it want be no better like always…

It will become legal soon. I know this because in my experience with working for the government of Maryland for 14 years MONEY is what counts. In states where it is, lets say not totally legal, are showing the government how much money they can make in taxes. They don’t really care about the Medical benefits. They are just getting use to the idea. They are secretly trying to figure out how to regulate it and handle the distribution process before ending the prohibition. It is just a matter of time and effort. We all have to keep working for it. We need to be more politically active. Keep talking to people about it and getting them to be more active with our delegates, senators and I mean not just local, or state. I mean contacting our federal representatives. I send out letters at least once a week to someone. I am mainly focusing on Federal legislators, Including our President.
Lastly, I hope that everyone is having a good and productive time out there in Colorado, and take a hit for me.

IN MY OPINION,,,MEDICAL MARIJUANA ISNT GOING TO HELP THE DRUG WAR AND THATS WHERE TOO MUCH MONEY IS SPENT RIGHT NOW,,BILLIONS EVERY YEAR FOR PROHBITION,,WE WANT STOP SPENDING THIS MUCH,,EVEN IF YOU HAVE MEDICAL MARIJUANA,,PEOPLE WILL STILL BUY FROM A CHEAPER SOURCE,,IVE SEEN HOW MUCH THESE DISPENSARIES CHARGE ON TV,, YOU BUY,, BY THE GRAM,,10 TO 20 DOLLARS A GRAM AND THIS ISNT MUCH CHEAPER THAN STREET PRICES,, YOU CAN GET MEDICAL GRADE ON THE STREET 50 FOR BOUT 4.5 GRAMS,,OR SOME THATS LIKE KUSH 4000 FOR 16 OUNCES AND ITS STINKS WOOO!! 10. The American Genesist says:

      THE DAY AFTER 4-20 @ 4:20

The idea behind 4-20 @ 4:20 was for “every individual” – to be where “that individual” felt most effective – but – to be there in favor of our Sacrament. “One in a million.” – and – “A million to one.” So! Now we must “go tell everyone” – and – when we’ve done that – we must look in the mirror and “tell our self” – just to be sure!

      DECLARATION:

“We’ve thought it over in its entirety, and have come to a final decision – a decision we will defend to the end. It is not a matter of illegal substances – it is a matter religious freedom, guaranteed us in the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America Our conclusion is this – “We are doing the right thing.” Our conscience is clear, and our sincerity is well directed. “We will have our Sacrament.”

      Hello NORML Bloggers
Below is a sample of one of my letters I sent to Senator Ben Cardin. This is a good letter because it address’s most of the issues of legalization. Also it doesn’t look like a lawyer wrote it. Feel free to copy and paste it and add your senators or other representatives name and address. Also, You can tweek it to satisfy your own style and add your personal touch to it. Don’t make your letter too long. They are very busy people and you need to get to the point and make it as brief as possible. Try and make it rhythmic if you can. Please remember your netiquette. Honorable Senator (insert name)

I have a wonderful idea, why don’t you, Senator (Your representatives name) initiate a bill, promote it, and vote to end the prohibition of  “Marijuana”. Do you have any idea how much money the government would make? Let alone how many jobs that would be created, if “Marijuana” was made legal again.  “Marijuana” is the highest cash crop in the world. All you need to do is legalize it, tax it, and regulate it. Then, use some of the billions of revenue it would yield, on helping sick people. People who are stricken with these horrific deceases like, Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Aides, and too many other medical problems to count, and name. The only relief these patients get is smoking “Marijuana”.

Please help Stop! this useless, wasteful, and destructive War on drugs especially when considering Marijuana” It has become a war on people.

Some people argue that “Marijuana” is a gateway drug to harmful drugs like heroin, cocaine, prescription drugs and the biggest alcohol. However, it is widely known that many people use “Marijuana” to successfully escape the devastating effects and addiction of those harmful drugs.

Please help stop! the waste of our taxpayer’s money, by keeping this miracle medical herb illegal, that doesn’t do any harm. There are many medical studies which have proven that “Marijuana” is safe and effective when used to help many medical problems.

      Please help stop! putting people in jail for use and possession of “Marijuana”. There are too many otherwise law abiding, hard working, tax paying, citizens having their lives destroyed;
Just by getting caught using and/or possessing “Marijuana”, especially young people.

Senator, Please, consider these requests seriously. I know a lot of politicians in the public eye, are afraid of making a stand on legalizing “Marijuana” again. It will take a strong and certainly brave politician to make that stand on stopping the Prohibition of “Marijuana” However, Senator I think you can do it.

Thank you and God bless you and yours

      Nancy Lee Garrett

    13. The American Genesist says:

      DEFEND THE GARDEN

Some times the best defense is “no defense” – but – for the most part, and most of the time – the best defense is a “strong offense.” On 4-20 @ 4:20 – we, the Genesist Faith and friends, made a Declaration, and delivered it to all prohibs. Today – we start “defending” the garden with a “strong offense.” Today – and for all time – prohibs will be the “defenders of their own actions” if they have any inclination whatsoever of invading the garden. The barbarians are at the gate – but – the shame they wear on the bosom of their soul, and their jersey, bear a huge 86. On 4-20 @ 4;20 we let our “offense” take the field – “GAME OVER.” But – it doesn’t stop there! After 4-20 @ 4:20 – we offer them one word to get used to – “DEFEAT.” We hope – we truly hope – that they are good losers, and can handle their loss – otherwise – “They made their bed – now – they can lay in it.”
