Yes, indeed. Obama can only tell when it is the right thing to do when he is looking at a pile of dead children; otherwise everything else is subjective to him, which is just wrong. Can we elect people to high office that aren’t suffering from some kind of mental issues; as in Narcissistic, Histrionic or Borderline disorders of thinking?

He can somehow “see” the value in locking up thousands of innocent people. Yet, all this “Drug War” does is help ruin the country. As a former pothead, he should first put himself through this crap system get a criminal record and then tell us it was “worth it”. As a Narcissistic thinker, Obama cannot put himself in someone else’s shoes without experiencing it for himself first and then being reminded constantly. He is a shallow person that portrays himself as a “deep thinker”.

Judy, Obama has promised to do the same things he has in California. He will not go after users, just everyone else. What is there to be happy about? It it isn’t even possible for the Feds to bother with users, so all he has done is confirm he is going to continue Prohibition in His Typical Fashion; i.e. prevent it from being a legitimate business. As per our sort of broken logic president, only criminals should be allowed to make money from marijuana businesses, when it should be every and any American who wants or cares to. He is trying to prevent an entire industry from getting off the ground all the while babbling about how and what we can do to turn things around.

Obama, you should plant some hemp at the White House Garden; as an example of what the nation should do moving forward.

I am very pleased with Pres. Obama’s lack of action regarding CO and WA legalizing. Not taking action is a really good thing!!! Just imagine where we’d be if Mitt had managed to become our Pres! OMG – We as a nation would have stepped back in time to the days of Nixon…

I am optimistic that we, with Obama’s help, will move ever closer to ending marijuana prohibition. Indeed, I truly believe that it could be legal at the federal level within 2 years. The people have spoken loud and clear on this issue and the Mitts and Twits that stand in the way are walking a shaky tightrope and will be the villains in future history books.

ok….well then, I’ve been reading all of your posts, some of which are very well stated, if not eloquent! Hats off to you all! While smoking or not, I’d even say some of you advocates, etc not only spent time behind the bong & you also possibly lived in the dorm!!
NO disrespect but After spending years and years watching, waiting, watching, waiting, etc except for you distant, back page “ADVOCATES” I think the majority of people in the business legitimately an otherwise would agree that you guys are INSANE and to be blunt…. in a self fulfilling fantasy of BULLSHIT!!! DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF MEMORY??? WTF??? OBAMAS A F’ ing puppet at best and while our Jewish bankers let him toy with prohibition, when they (along with the feds), the DOJ and Eric Holder (Attorney General) make the decision that it’s time, IT IS TIME! If the writers of these state laws, propositions, etc would leave out the gaping loopholes (ie. opportunity for illegal activity such as delivery services & other evolving business aspects for profit) like CO mostly has and close all opportunity to have the people flourished trade, then the backlash wouldn’t be an issue. CA state legal aspects as its written is like a block of Swiss cheese waiting for the mice (growers, vendors, semi- business men and young gutsy entrepreneurs). Meaning lax laws = federal intervention- APPARENTLY!
Not sure if you are newbies or ? but google Los Angeles medical marijuana dispensaries close. maybe even add 2012 because as recent as August pressure from feds had city, county & state police backing. no push to close shops, feds not doing anything?? Overturned or not, closing or not, just the waiting game and payments to attorneys to right the system is enough to make the majority involved lose sleep every single night! Graveside!!! google them! as legal as it gets and feds are currently living on- site! Not to mention . ( but I will) countless shops taken over by feds collecting names and biding their time accumulating lists of patients like they did 2 years ago in La and same in San Diego! But yeah , no pressure! so long as you are behind your keyboards in lala land with nothing to lose but a chance to peripherally somehow get your piece of the pie!!! get a clue and minimally be a voice and advocate and state the same stuff you’ve written to one of the anti- pot cops or feds and see if you help each other up or walk by in fear of being next! gents, we have no constitution, media is owned by the govt and we are sheep!!

We are fighting for the right to feel good. Who cares if we need to take a drug to feel this. Taking drugs and feeling better is ok but not feeling good is not cause it leads to Sandy Hook type shit. We can take legal drugs to feel good including Lithium, Xanax and Oxycontin and that’s ok. or even alcohol/tobacco if you can manage to feel good off cigarettes. But any drug that has more good effects than bad has to be illegal. Case in point: Weed. It has NO bad effects unless you think something depressing about yourself while smoking. The answer? You learn to be positive… something you should do anyway. While it take God to part the Red Sea or something for these people in charge to wake up? CANNABIS IS GOOD, not bad/evil. You’re NOT living forever. You might as well be the hero instead of catering to the 1950s alcohol loving generation. Jesus!

In response to the first comment. Unincorporated regions make up only a small part of most states. The reason for banning these facilities in those areas is that state/local taxes are lower in unincorporated areas. It is not nullifying the taxation benefits to the state it is instead closing a potential tax loop hole.

I can’t wait for the federal government tries to pull funding from states only to find out states with legalization are making more in tax revenue from sales than they are loosing from the federal government.

Make pot legal you stupid government. Think about, if pot would have been legal you mite have had less crime and murders happening cause the suspect might have been high and really thought about what he was about to do. I know for a fact when I used to smoke pot I really thought about things that were happening or about to happen. So just maybe we could have avoided school shootings. Alcohol causes more deaths than pot does, why ain’t alcohol illegal. Government you really need to open up your eyes. Make pot legal would benefit this country alot. Heck the national dept would be cut in half, if not more, in a few years. We could be free from other countries. Get your heads out of your ass and make it legal
